Laser Cutting

Our Bystronic Fiber laser provides us with the capacity for long and short runs. This state of the art laser cutting technology enables us to cut thick and thin material faster.

Cutting capabilities:

  • X axis – 3000mm
  • Y axis – 1500mm

Material and Thicknesses

  • Mild Steel up to 20mm
  • Stainless Steel and Aluminium up to 12mm
  • Copper and Brass up to 6mm

Bending

Our CNC bending machines have a wide range of tooling options, quick set up times and high repeatability. We are able to measure, monitor and correct as part of the process to ensure each bend is accurate.

Bending capabilities:

  • Bending up to 3m long on our 160 ton machine and 2m on our 80 ton machine.

Welding

MIG and TIG Welding

  • TIG Seam welding can weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, using filler rods to weld small joints and corners to give the finest finish.
  • MIG welding is used for a high standard structurally solid finish.

Stud Welding

  • Our stud welding process creates an electrical arc to melt the stud and workpiece at the point of contact. This creates a strong and durable connection without the need for through holes.

Laser welding

  • This process is used to join metals, using a laser beam to form a weld. Being such a concentrated heat source, in thin materials laser welding can be carried out at high welding speeds of meters per minute, and in thicker materials can produce narrow, deep welds between square-edged parts.

CNC Machining

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines use directions from a computer to complete machining processes. Machining equipment takes a stock piece of material and cuts away parts of it to achieve specified results.
